Unique Massage Places
Snake massages? Yep, snake massages. How could anyone relax while a pile of slithering, hissing snakes moving around on your back? I’m with Indiana Jones on this one, I hate snakes. At some non-traditional spas around the world, king and corn snakes are used to produce a kneading sensation while the garden snakes caress the skin. A spa in northern Israel charges $80 for this creepy massage.
If snakes at the spa are not your cup of tea, why not dip your toes in a bucket of water filled with garra rufa fish. These fish are used during pedicures to get rid of all that dead skin on your feet. At a spa in New Hampshire, they use 100 of these small fish to prep your feet before you get a pedicure. Who knew that a trip to the jungle could turn into a day at the spa?
