Without software, our computers would to many of us just be a chunk of metal and plastic. The software programs are what allow us to interface with the hardware. We use gaming software, word processing software, and anything else we use our computers for. Software designers study for years at school to design the programs we use today, and many of them earn great salaries with great companies as soon as they graduate.
A lot of people I went to school with were absolutely obsessed with World of Warcraft, or WOW as it was affectionately called by those who played it. It’s absolutely amazing the capabilities that software has today. The pictures and movements on these peoples’ computers absolutely looks real. New software is being released everyday, and it keeps getting more and more detailed and perfected.
