I grew up in a rural mountain town in northern Utah where everyone knew each other. My mother was one of two teachers who taught 4th grade at the local elementary school and I prayed every day during my 3rd grade year that I wouldn’t have my mother as my teacher. It didn’t work.

Most student loans have to be certified by your school, meaning your school approves that the funds you are applying for will be used for school related expenses such as books and housing.

Whether I chose a private or a public university, it would still be expensive. However, luckily there were many opportunities for financial aid.

I think it is so important it get children into science-related activities when they are young so that they can foster the interest and enjoy it when they are older.

I now realize how neat it is that she was able to take night classes for six years and get a degree.
