Supplements

After several doctor’s visits and experimentation, I realized that my fatigue was coming from low iron counts which led to a slight case of anemia. I originally went to the doctor because I was feeling light-headed and tired a lot of the time which didn’t make sense because I was very active. After a few blood tests and some diet watching, we came to this conclusion. My doctor advised me to take iron and vitamin supplements.

To remedy this, I now make sure that I am eating iron and protein rich foods on a daily basis and I take an iron rich vitamin every morning after breakfast. Since I have started doing this, I have felt better. I have more energy, and don’t feel as light-headed with headaches anymore. The specific vitamin I take is One-A-Day Women’s multivitamin that I feel is really good for me because it is tailored to meet women’s nutrition needs. Many people need to take supplements to ensure they are getting what their bodies need to be healthy. Talk to your doctor or nutritionist about what supplements are right for you.
