Scholarships Help With Tuition
When I was in high school, most of the colleges I was looking at were private schools with great reputations. The only problem – they all cost way more money that I could afford. Luckily, I was able to find many scholarships to help pay for college. Combined with financial aid, the scholarships helped pay close to my entire tuition.
I searched online and found many websites dedicated to finding scholarships. Many of these sites had links to sites where I was able to apply to scholarships. I also found that my high school and college both offered many different types of scholarships. There were some for success in academics, some for special skills, like sports, and some based upon need. Even if you don’t have a stellar academic record and you’re not the captain of the football team, you can find scholarships that are right for you. The high school I went to has a scholarship that you can only apply for if you have a “C” average, proving that there really are options for everyone.
