Men’s Health and Dodgeball

Being a working professional and staying fit is not easily accomplished. Men with a hectic work schedule often have a hard time fitting exercise into their everyday life. It is something that takes extreme discipline. Sometimes you will have to exercise at 6:00 A.M. or earlier simply because that is the only time that you can fit it into your schedule. We all want to be 200 lbs of pure muscle with a killer six-pack, but the extent of which that is possible is in question. It seems we would have to exercise at the expense of something else in our lives.

Balancing a busy life is hard, but if you look carefully you can fit exercise into your life somehow. One way you can knock out two birds with one stone is by participating in exercise that is social. For instance, instead of running on a treadmill for an hour alone, you could set up a time to play tennis with your son or wife. Another example is to join a league of some sorts with your friends. I set up a dodgeball team with my friends. It was great because we exercised and had a lot of fun. It was both socially and physically rewarding.
