Living on Campus
I lived on campus all four years at college. I wouldn’t trade it for anything! Those four years were some of the best of my life so far, and I think a lot of that had to do with that fact that I was able to concentrate on my studies, spend time with my friends, and never leave campus if I didn’t want to.
Coming from a very rural area, the closest person my own age was about five miles away from my house. I was ecstatic to move to school where I could walk to all of my friends’ dorms or apartments. It seemed like there was never a time when I couldn’t find something to do because at every second of the day, there was someone nearby doing something fun! If I wanted to throw a Frisbee on a nice day, I could just go outside and find a bunch of people who wanted to play. If I needed my computer fixed I could yell down the hall that I needed help (it helped that I went to a technical school.) If I had a big test coming up, there were always people to study with. Almost everything about living on campus was amazing! (Except the food, of course.)
