Law in Films
Over the years there have been many great films which dealt with the judicial process. Films such as Kramer vs. Kramer and Philadelphia have strong political and social points that ring true decades later. However I feel that the most poignant film discussing the law and its processes is the timeless film, Legally Blonde. No, don’t laugh just yet.
I’m being completely serious. It is the only movie in an entire genre of movies that has ever made me want to be a lawyer. I’m not a fan of pink nor am I particularly fond of Reese Witherspoon, but I enjoyed the idea of a law student not having their individuality drummed out of them. I myself considered going to law school but my brother and sister-in-law advised me not to due to my creativity and utter despise of those yellow legal pads.
