Injury Accidents
Have you ever accidentally slammed the freezer door on your head? I have a friend, let’s call her Jen, who is quite possibly the most accident-prone person I have ever met. Nary a weekend goes by that she doesn’t show up with some new bump or bruise. She actually managed to shut her head in the freezer. The first thing I asked when she was explaining her new welt on her forehead, was if she was stressed or thinking about other things. She had not been but after the kitchen-related injury she decided it was probably a good time to start practicing yoga and meditating.
I have never had a kitchen-related injury; all of my injuries are sports related. However, you would think that contact sports would be the highest cause of injuries but it turns out, statistics show that around-the-house injuries are most common. Which means my poor friend Jen is going to need better health insurance!
