Help Through Physical Therapy
Physical therapy is an excellent field to go into if you like working with and helping people in need, and prefer the structure of a 9 to 5 schedule over the unpredictable working hours of a surgeon. Physical therapists are successful financially and make anywhere between $55,000 to $78,000 on average and usually get to dictate their own lifestyle of work.
Physical therapy is a great career path to get into because there are always people who need help, and it is rewarding to help people get back on their feet after bad injuries. It is challenging to get accepted in PT schools because they are competitive, but by maintaining good grades and doing research your chances are obviously better. Physical therapists study things like anatomy, kinesiology, rehabilitation, and even know how to provide emotional support to people who are recovering from traumatic injuries.
