Healthy Tips
We’re coming up on the holidays and everyone is starting to talk about staying healthy in the winter months. I thought I’d offer a couple tips to staying healthy during all of our holiday eating extravaganzas.
First and foremost, start drinking more water. If you’re anything like me, your morning starts with coffee and your days end with a glass of wine with little time in between to hydrate. I’ve found if I fill up a bottle of water in the morning with my coffee it will remind me to stay hydrated during my work day. Remember to be green and refill and reuse your water bottles; don’t buy more plastic!
The next tip is so simple that we don’t think to do it: Get your body moving. It doesn’t mean that you have to hit the gym five days a week; it can be something simple. Try parking in the stall farthest from the door or taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Everyday decisions like these can make a big difference in your overall health, so give them a try. What have you got to lose but pounds?
