Children’s Books

Although now I’m an adult, I will always appreciate Dr. Seuss books. The first book I ever remember reading is “The Cat In The Hat.” I can vividly picture sitting in our living room on our old maroon couch, struggling to pronounce all the words to my mom.

Sure I enjoy reading “real books” but I don’t think I’ll ever grow out of enjoying Dr. Seuss’ writing. I can’t read one of his books without smiling. The rhymes, made up words, and overall hilarious adventures of his characters are absolutely charming. Did you ever make green eggs and ham as a child? Doesn’t it bring back wonderful memories? I think it’s fun to read books that I loved as a child. It’s unbelievably refreshing to reminisce and temporarily feel like a kid again!
